Commissioner’s National Priority Voucher pilot program public hearing scheduled for June 4th

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is seeking public comment on the Commissioner’s National Priority Voucher pilot program. The FDA also announced a public hearing on June 4 about the program.

The public hearing will seek feedback about the program’s eligibility criteria, the voucher selection processes, sponsor responsibilities, pre-submission requirements, FDA review procedures, the role of the CNPV Review Council, and other aspects of program implementation.

The pilot program was announced in June 2025 to address U.S. national health priorities through a 1-2 month review pathway. So far, the FDA has awarded 18 Vouchers and granted four approvals.
